Wingspan Wednesday and Copy Flight Terms and Conditions

When you book a “Wingspan Wednesday” or “Copy Flight” service (both referred to as “sprint”) you are agreeing to all below.

  1. Services

I, Anna Hetzel, agree to provide copywriting services as outlined on the booking form. You, the client, don’t get set deliverables but you do get a set number of hours of work.

One-Hour Consultation: 60 minutes plus 3 business days of email support follow-up

4-Hour Sprint: 4 hours

6-Hour Sprint: 6 hours plus 3 business days of revisions

Week Sprint: 5 days, 4 hours each day, plus 5 business days of revisions

All work will be completed within these time frames.

  1. Fees

The fee for these services is to be paid before your booking date.

When you book with me, you accept and understand that you are fully responsible for the payment of the entire fee for these services— even if you decide to cancel the booking, terminate our relationship or decide not to use the copy I deliver during the hours you have booked.

  1. Refunds and cancellation

When you book with me I block that time off in my calendar just for you.

Because of this, I have a strict no refund policy. However, life does happen and sometimes rescheduling is needed. If you request a reschedule within 48 hours of your booking you’ll be charged a reschedule fee of 10%.

If you do not show up to a scheduled appointment or fail in your client responsibilities (see below) you will still be responsible for the entire fee, no refunds.

  1. Client responsibilities

To get the most out of our time together, I’ll need you to complete any forms I send prior to your booking, respond to any requests for information I have beforehand and during your booking and join me for any requested meetings during our scheduled time.

If your booking date and time start and you haven’t provided the information I need or responded to my requests I will consider this a cancellation of my services and you will be responsible for the entire service fee (see no refund policy).

  1. Process and revisions

Before your sprint session, I will read all the background information you have sent me and do any extra research that is required. We’ll then kick off your booking with a briefing call (if part of the Flight you chose) and then I will begin working on your copy. I will share the Google Document I am working from when there is work ready for review. We can also get together over Zoom during your booking if included in the Flight your chose, to review progress and answer any questions that may have come up. At the end of your booking, I will send you your final copy via a Google Document.

Revisions are not included in my services beyond those that occur during the hours booked. If you would like further edits, revisions, or work after the scheduled allotment of time, we can discuss booking more hours for those revisions to take place.

  1. My responsibilities

I will provide you with professional service at all times. And I will adhere to work the hours set forth in this agreement. During your booked hours you are my number one priority and I will respond to any communication from you asap.

I will treat any information you provide to me as confidential unless we both agree otherwise.

All work in my final delivered work product will be my own work and will not infringe upon any copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party to the best of my knowledge.

  1. Limitation of liability and force majeure

If I can’t work the hours you have booked because of fire, casualty, severe illness, strike or other civil disturbances, Acts of God (including but not limited to, fire, terrorism or other causes beyond my control), my liability is limited to rescheduling your booking or refunding any payment you have made as soon as possible.

  1. Governing law and arbitration

This agreement becomes effective only when the client books and pays for a sprint session. Regardless of the place of booking of this agreement, you agree that for purposes of venue, this contract was entered into in Ohio and any dispute will be litigated or arbitrated in Columbus, OH.

  1. Entire agreement

This agreement contains the entire understanding of the obligations of the parties. There are no other promises, agreements, warranties, or representations other those expressly stated in this agreement. If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions of this agreement remain in full force and effect
